The graduates find themselves split it two, half maintaining some sense of progression and motivation from the experience and bringing that back to their respective regiments, setting good examples for younger legionnaires in sporting and responsibility terms. The other half, though, might decide "Wow, that's the last time I'm going through nonsense like that" and head home to slack-off until the end of their contracts.
